Privacy
Welcome Crowd is operated by David Green trading as DV Green Digital. Contact hello@welcomecrowd.com about your data.
Your account and events
We use your signed-in account identifier and email to give you access to your events, team roles and profiles. Information you choose to publish on an event, artist or supplier page is public. Private event records, ticket details and team information are restricted by the access controls in the workspace.
Customer profiles, attendance and chat
Your crowd profile is private by default. If you make it public, your chosen display name and bio are visible to anyone with its link. You choose separately which upcoming events to show as “I’m going”. Shared attendance appears on your profile and the event page while a confirmed ticket remains valid. Your email, ticket code and booking details are not shown. Turning your profile private hides shared attendance too.
Event comments require a confirmed ticket saved to your account, or organiser access, and wait for organiser approval before appearing publicly. Private group chats are separate: the event owner adds members by their sign-in email, and members can see the conversation history. Group chat access does not grant access to tickets or sales. We store messages, display names and membership information to provide these features. You can remove your own group messages; the organiser can remove messages and revoke membership.
Your selected account roles personalise your home page; they do not grant event access.
Artist sales credit
When an organiser enables artist sales tracking, an artist’s ticket link may preselect their name at checkout. You can change or clear that choice. We save the selected artist with the booking to produce sales and refund totals for authorised event team members. One choice covers the whole booking. This feature does not track you across devices or use advertising cookies, and artist reports do not expose buyer names or email addresses.
Social accounts
If you connect a social account, we receive its account identifier, display name and access credentials from that network. We store the credentials encrypted on the server and use them only for the connection you authorise. Your password is entered on the social network’s own site; Welcome Crowd does not receive it.
Connection setup currently checks account identity. Automatic publishing is off. Connecting an account does not send posts or upload media. X is also disabled until its paid usage is explicitly enabled.
Disconnecting removes the saved credentials and social account details from our active connection record. It does not necessarily remove the permission you granted on the social network. You can revoke that permission in the network’s app settings. See connection data removal.
Service providers
Our hosting and sign-in services process information needed to run the site. Stripe processes payment setup and payments, and Resend delivers ticket emails. Social networks process connection requests under their own policies. Live ticket sales are currently closed.
Storage and requests
Temporary connection cookies protect account linking and expire after ten minutes. We retain event and account records while needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations or resolve a request. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about a specific record.
